Wonderful new hotel. The staff were exceptional. Room was a fair size and large enough for three adults. Great location for The Mets Citi Field and the airports at a reasonable price.

The hotel lobby, reception and room were clean and comfortable. The furniture in the room is a bit older, but completely adequate for our needs. All the hotel staff were very nice and friendly, the receptionist Mirko was very nice and always helped with advice. If we return to New York, this hotel will be our #1 choice.

It is super convenient to get into Manhatten in around 30-40 minutes and a better value alternative to Manhatten hotel prices. The hotel sits at the end of the 7 Line. Nice property. The surrounding area is so-so, but we never felt unsafe walking around at night. Some great Asian restaurants/bars in the area.

A 15-minute walk from Citi Field, John Hotel is set in the Flushing Chinatown district of Queens.

Everything went well. I was afraid of a few comments on the breakfast and kindly ness, and although the breakfast is more for a oriental crowd, it had good choices for everyone. Perhaps you could add yogurt and a little more fruit. The people at the counter was very kind.
