It was very central, the room was clean and had all we needed. Stuff working there where so friendly and welcoming. They took some time for conversation and was very personal. In the afternoon they invited for a free snack and drink. If ever in Santa Barbara again we will come back.

The Waterman is well situated for the waterside and downtown. It's easy to walk to the beach, the wharf, the Presidio, and the Los Banos pool (a lovely outdoor pool). The hotel room was fine but no more than fine. It did have lots of hooks to hang coats from though... Breakfast facilities were minimal, but there was plenty of availability of free coffee and tea. We didn't see any guests using the cooker hob - slightly weird in a hotel, but if you fancied scrambling some eggs then the equipment was there. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. OK for a one night stay.

This my favorite stop in Santa Barbara. I break up the drive to Orange County with a stop here. It is always clean with large fluffy white towels, coffee, pastries and banana bread for breakfast. The location is great within walking distance to great restaurants so you don’t have to get in the car again. It is good for pets. There are nice walking parks, strictly on leash, near by. Plus easy access to the freeway. I enjoyed the Black Friday special on the Monday after Thanksgiving! It was a great deal!

It was clean, great location, free parking and the beds were so comfortable! The hotel opened 3 years ago and you can tell it’s a fairly new hotel. Everything looked brand new and clean.

We had an incredible stay for my birthday. Charming inn with beautiful rooms and comfy beds. We loved the breakfast they served -- as well as the wine and cookies they put out every afternoon. Excellent staff that showed exceptional care toward the guests. Walking distance to State Street and very safe neighborhood.

This Santa Barbara hotel is 2 blocks from the many beaches and yacht harbor. The Mediterranean-style hotel features a fountain, free bike rentals, and an expanded continental breakfast every morning.

The staff were amazingly helpful. Free bike hire, biking is perfect and safe in the area. They also had a happy hour 4.30 to 6.30 where you can have afternoon tea/coffee or wine with light things to eat too... so generous!! Pool was gorgeous and rooms were very very very nice and spacious.

Guests can enjoy both charm and elegance at this Santa Barbara bed and breakfast. Rooms are uniquely furnished and feature free Wi-Fi. Stearns Wharf is less than 10 minutes’ drive away.
