The pleasantly surprising coincidence offered us a room with a breathtaking lake and mountain view at half the cost of our initial booking. The delightful breakfast spread exceeded our expectations with its delicious offerings and abundant choices. Our overall experience was extremely satisfying, proving to be excellent value for money. Podenhaus is located comfortably in Bad Aussee in a way that it’s easy to make day-trips to nearby lakes. Bicycle rent is also nearby. Will surely be back!

The location was central for exploring the nearby ski areas: Loser, Tauplitz, Dachstein West, Krippenstein, Zauchenzee, Obertauern.
