I drove about a 100 extra km to stay at this place, and it was totally worth it! Ultra highly recommended! The hostess is very kindhearted, and the cabin and facilities are of high quality, but for an exceptionally low price (for Austria). And, more importantly, all income is used to rescue animals and make them happy and healthy. I loved meeting the animals, and i was impressed with the dedication and care they are given, the hostess is a hero! But for those who are less fond of cats, horses, ducks, etc., no worries, the animals are kept on the other side of the terrain, so you will not be bothered by them, or noises, or smells. The cabin is fabulous, its facilities are clean and surprisingly fancy: comfy bed, good kitchenette, luxurious bathroom, and a little terrace. The location is convenient (shops and facilities close enough), but quiet and beautiful, and I encountered lots of deer and other wildlife on the little road to the farm (so drive slowly and carefully!) This place is the best, I cant wait to go back here for a longer stay!

Everything. Fantastic. Did not have breakfast, we dont know how that is. Easy access, easy to get in via code. Very clean. Big rooms. Comfortable bed, pillow AND duvet. A bit warm, but we opened the window. Was surprised it was not noisy. Big bathroom, proper shower.

The hotel is ca 3 mins far from the train and bus station. The hotel is situated in the historical part of Melk. The room was clean and spacy, breakfast was fine.
