This was a beautiful place to stay, we picked it last minute as an overnight stop, the look of the hotel was amazing, there was parking out the front, but the hotel parking was to the back of the property. From the car to the hotel there was a garden, this had been landscaped beautifully, I took many photos to give me some ideas for my garden. The reception was just off the garden and you could find someone to help you in the bar at the front, very friendly staff, really helpful, quick to check in and get to the room, we unpacked and went downstairs to the bar, for a coffee, we sat there for a couple of hours till we were ready to eat, the food was amazing we were stuffed by the end. The room was comfortable when we got back to it but a few hours later we both woke up really hot, the only way to cool the room was to open the door to the balcony, this meant we could hear the road noise, though not much, then the church bells at 6am this was pleasant, the shower was really good, had a good water pressure, the breakfast was a buffet with coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice brought to the table, we were also given the option of cooked eggs. Check out was good with everyone being so nice, I would definitely stay there again if travelling this way to Italy.

We stayed room only, which fitted with our plans so we could get up early to head the eagles nest and be first up there. the room was perfect for our needs, i would stay again, but not on a Sunday as it was very quite and 95% places closed... :-) ...

    Staying in Fitzholf was an amazing experience. Picturesque to the core...extremely quiet. Property contains all the amenities as desired including a functional kitchen. The hosts are superb and ensured that our stay becomes memorable. They have an adjoining farm and witnessing same was enjoyable. Go for Filtzlhof (be contained for transport)

    Maria and Wilhelm were very open, friendly, and welcoming. It was a pleasure to meet them! Great location with a view on snowy mountains from everywhere: from the balcony, from the playground for children and from the outside pool. Friendly cats :)

    The house and the nature were amazing. The children also saw deer. We enjoyed being there. The home made products: milk, yogurt, jams were very good. The host is very helpful, she shared us lots of information about the sights, public transports, shops...

    The place is absolutely beautiful. Close to nature and close to a lot of touristic attractions. The guest card and possibility to get fresh bio milk and eggs are a huge plus. We had a wonderful time and wish to come back soon. All the best to Elisabeth and family.
