Both the reception area and the cabins were beautifully designed.
The fireplace inside the cabin kept us very warm—so much so that at night, we even left the window slightly open while the fire was still going.
It was conveniently close to the Visitor Centre and Devils @ Cradle.
The kitchen had all the utensils we needed, but I’d recommend bringing enough ingredients if you plan to cook your own meals.

0The room is very spacious with good lighting. Decor is good. Wide selection of food in breakfast. Both Highland Resturant and Tavern Bistro are delicious. Spotted wallaby and wombat right in front of the shop. Very comfortable stay. Highly recommended.

Cradle Mountain is the most amazing location, the family chalet was fantastic.

Full-contained lodge, close to the visitor center. Great welcoming staff, clean and functional kitchen, good size and clean bathroom, the bed was awesome compared to the majority of the beds we slept in in other places. Fully functional, and very cozy, the whole family loved it!!

Absolutely fabulous place, had everything we needed to stay with 3 small children. A fire place in the middle of cold and rainy Summer was just what made our stay memorable despite of the weather being not quite what we were hoping for. Would go back and stay again.

Right in the wilderness . Our family enjoyed the cabin within the woods . Few family friendly hikes closer to the lodge . Even the shuttle bus stop is just a short walk away . The staff were exceptional they even made a birthday note and chocolates for my wife’s birthday ! We will come back during the winter again !

Great spot right at the entrance to the park. A few 100ms from the visitors centre and shuttles. The lodge area and hellyers were exceptional ( we ate there both nights and were made to feel very welcome with our very small children). Cabin was simple but all we needed and the setting was perfect for a cradle mountain stay.

We first came here 13 years ago as a couple without kids, and I can safely say that it was just as amazing this time around, staying in a family cabin. The location to the visitor centre (and bus to walks) is fantastic. Pademelons outside our cabin and Wombats down the road. Lots of firewood and a great kitchen. Perfect getaway!
