Breakfast was terrific - a huge range of fresh fruit, cheese, bread, charcuterie & cooked breakfast. Serge is a generous and hospitable host who offered fascinating insight into Mechelen, his home and interests. The house is beautiful to spend time in and we very much appreciated the lovely decor and the interesting conversations we had. Location is superb - literally 2 minute walk to the centre and main cathedral. You couldn’t get a better place to stay . Thank you, Serge.

Great host, very informative and caring. Breakfast was perfect - super tasty home-made Granola, supported with a nice espresso macchiato and apple ginger juice. Rooms are spacious, bed and pillows extra cozy, shower very special:)

Beautiful apartment with a lot of space. Large rooms and amazing bathrooms. The sauna and jacuzzi were easy to use.

It is a pity that in this moment the hotel is not easily accessible, due to the important works that are going on just in front of it. Apart form that, everything perfect!

Staff were incredibly helpful when we arrived late. Room was very spacious and bed very, very comfy. Location a few minutes drive from highway is perfect for us, but it was quiet and had secured parking. Brasserie food great too.

At first glance it is a functional business and conference Hotel but really enjoyed staying here. Spacious and in a cosy park setting. Spotless, comfortable, great attention to detail. Rooms excellent.

We had a great stay in the Old Beech. It is an extraordinary house that was furnished with much love. We enjoyed walking around and seeing the tasteful decoration. The neighbourhood is very quite. The host is very hospitable and antictaped all of our wishes.
