Best part of the stay was Layo, the owner/manager. He has excellent English, is very attentive, great sense of humor, always looking for feedback on how he can improve guest experience, and genuinely interested in his guests. The room was very spacious and spotlessly clean. Water pressure was wonderful so showers at the end of a hot day were such a pleasure. The location was excellent; it was an easy walk to places of interest and extremely safe. Less than 10 minutes to the Temple of Pythons and about 25 minutes to the Sacred Forest. I personally loved to walk because you just get to see so much more!

what is there not to like about Layos place? from the first moment we had an amazing experience, Layo (the host) is by far the most attentive and kind person you can hope to find in a place. not only did he recommend us the best things to do, but he was also a great companion during our stay in the hotel and made us feel very welcome. I recommend this place to everyone who wants to experience true beninese hospitality. thumbs up!

Justin was a very helpful and attentive host. He arranged for me to go see a voodoo ceremony, which was really cool. He also helped arrange trusted motorcycle taxis, which helped me a lot. He was always making sure I was happy and had all I needed. Also, the food was delicious and I slept really well.
