This is a very special place. Mike the owner says it has a special energy. For us it was a place of peace and harmony with nature. The sunrise over the river, go for a swim, in the morning mist with the sounds of the jungle - unbelievable! In the afternoon the howler monkeys roam the treetops over the small complex. Everything is laid out very sustainably and the fabulous cook spoiled us with local food and a breakfast of our choice. We'll be back - Mike, big hug! An absolutely beautiful property, overlooking farmland and jungle with a view to Xunantunich. Dominic was a wonderful host, so much knowledge and such a lovely man. We had a delicious homemade dinner and breakfast and enjoyed exploring the property. Dominic helped us book a ride to the border and our driver helped us sort a lift from the other side to Tikal. A great one night stay - loved Nabitunich, would definitely return 😊

Paula was amazing! Very helpful and friendly. The rest of the staff was very good too. Food was great, nice view from the restaurant. Rooms were spacious and comfortable and clean.

Our bungalow at Yuma's Riverfront Lodge was gorgeous! Beautiful, modern design, luxurious bedding, spacious bathroom with rain shower, stocked bar fridge & snacks, and incredible rainforest views from our private deck. The new pool was very refreshing, and home-cooked breakfast served at their outdoor kitchen before our daily adventures was amazing! Our stay highly exceeded our expectations for the price - it was glorious for our family (2 adults and 2 teenagers). We used Xplore Inland Tours for three adventures near San Ignacio / Santa Elena: (1) Guided Moutain Pine Ridge Tour (including a visit to Rio Frio Cave, then a traditional Belizian picnic lunch, and a stop to swim in pools and waterfalls at Rio On Pools); (2) Guided Cave Tubing at Nohoch Che'en; and (3) Horseback Riding under the rainforest canopy along a beautiful river. This is a smaller, family-run tour operator that gave us private tours for a better price that huge tour operators with giant groups. Best of both worlds - our guides were amazing and we got such personalized service! They even picked us up and dropped us off at Yuma's Riverfront Lodge each day, instead of us having to find our own way into San Ignacio. Perfect! 10/10

The villa is located about a 10 min drive from San Ignacio. It’s quite hard to find, but you can ask anyone in town, they will know the host Larry. You definitely need a car. It’s a very nice little place in a beautiful setting surrounded with palm trees. It’s extremely quiet and that gives a nice break from San Ignacio. The beds are big and very comfy. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment and it was perfect for our family of 4 even without a living room. Larry can give you good advices about the activites in the area.

This property is immaculate - the attention to detail is unlike anything I have previously experienced. The staff all introduced themselves to us upon arrival and not once did they forget our names, our likes/dislikes in the restaurant or bar. It is private, quiet, surrounded by wildlife. The food is impeccable with lots of traditional dishes to choose from. Nothing was too much to ask - I cannot recommend this property more.
