It was one of the most amazing experiences we ever had with the kids. They were just enchanted. Sleeping in the middle of the forest was scary but really fun at the same time. Kids loved that, too. Even using the toilet outside in the dark was an adventure. The structure itself built in the great depression is built from redwoods. The central focus is around 6 central fireplaces where there are plenty of sofas to relax and have a coffee or drinks on the lower floor. The bedroom and bed were comfortable. Excellent position, easy to reach by car. Montebello is a nice and charming town on the river, full of cafes and restaurants. People are very kind.
