Lovely B&B to stay. The house is located in a very quiet place, the owners Dave and Beata are very friendly and available in case of any help and request. I would strongly recommend this location if you are looking for a relaxing place. The chicken soup I had for dinner for fabulous!

There was noone and I spoke to them before I booked. They didn’t send me a door code and there was noone there on the time of the approved check in time. I called them the whole day on the day of travel and they were unreachable so I had to book somewhere else. The property didn’t even react to messages a day later or the day after I also send them to get a doorcode like spoken about on the phone before I booked. Now I have to wait five days for booking.com to look into it and hopefully send my money back. I wished I had booked this via Paypal for buyer protection because this is just bullshit. Luckily the locals were really nice and helped me to get around and book somewhere else.

Perfect stay! The apartment is perfectly clean, fully equipped and has its own parking space. The owners are very kind and we got all the informations on time! WiFi-perfect! The view and the terrace are excellent! The apartment is very quiet and pleasant! We stayed 8 nights and had no complaints! I would recommend it to anyone without hesitation! The Ambrosia Guesthouse completely exceeded my expectations! Check-in with co-owner Anthony was quick and friendly, with great tips for visiting the beautiful medieval town of Rheinfelden. The room is attractively decorated with many little unexpected extras, such as bedside charging stations with multiple ports and high quality toiletries (soap, lotion, shampoo and conditioner). The room was clean and comfortable, with blinds and dark curtains for a good sleep. The location is excellent, being only 5 minutes walk from the train station and 10 minutes walk to the old town. The neighbourhood is quiet, clean and safe. In the morning we enjoyed a lovely fresh breakfast, much of which is homemade by the charming Nathalie and Anthony. The breakfast area is bright and charming, with many lovely little treats and unlimited coffee! We will definitely return again next year when visiting Art Basel, which is easily reached by train and tram from this location.

In the village of Villigen, Hotel zum Hirschen serves a buffet breakfast and Swiss and French cuisine. A wine cellar and free Wi-Fi in all areas are also featured.

Wonderful service, great food, lovely decorated rooms and bathrooms -- and extremely accomodating management. I had made a booking mistake, booked one night too early. Hotel manager greenlighted applying the payment to our actual stay instead of charging us more. We're very pleased and will be glad to return to this place.
