Staying at this hostal with a local family was an unforgettable experience! It offered an authentic glimpse into the daily life of the Macedonia community. We had incredible adventures, including a night walk through the jungle, a canoe ride on the river, and an amazing trip to a neighboring community in Peru. The chance to observe the stunning nature up close was truly special. The food was delicious, and the comfort exceeded our expectations. If only we could have stayed longer!

Amazing place in a beautiful location. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They helped us organize the boat to get to Reserva and back to Leticia. We did several additional tours with them, exploring the Amazon jungle and the surroundings. They care deeply about local communities. Food was great, two of us were vegans and they adjusted all meals for us so it wasn't an issue. The non-vegan part of our group was also extremely pleased with food, especially with the fish, served in a variety of ways. It is a quiet place, you get to connect with other travelers. Totally the best way to explore the Amazon.

I was impressed with my room, it offered a sizeable double bed and the accomodation itself overlooked the Amazon river. where you can admire the sunrise and sunset. The staff were super helpful & friendly. The Maloka in the center of the accommodation offered the perfect space to browse the handmade artesanias, as well as enjoy a meal and meet local people and travellers alike. I would go back in a heartbeat.

This is a wonderful place to stay! I would recommend it to all my family and friends. Charlie and his family have a beautiful property. They are kind, welcoming, and very helpful with finding tours and places to visit. They have an amazing guide named Santos that can take you on the tours of pink dolphins or across the river to Peru for a hike in the forest. We stayed in a comfortable studio, and had breakfast and lunch cooked for us on site. It is a beautiful family environment, and you also have the privacy of the studio. Perfect place for a vacation!

Everything! Leo and his family are kind and make you feel very welcome. The hotel is right next to the forest so you hear birds and other nature sounds and you can spot monkeys from the hammock. The food was also really delicious and the tours Leo offers were amazing.

Our trip to the Amazon was incredible. The best stay of our Colombian trip, we cannot recommend it enough. The food was local and they adapted to our preferences (my partner is vegetarian), the cabins were comfortable, cozy and we felt at home. The price of activities might seem high, but they are organised just for you.
