Probably the best hostel in the entire Amazon! Not only are the owners and their entire family extremely kind and helpful, the food is also amazing and they are the only place in Macedonia (the village) with uninterrupted electricity and high speed internet thanks to solar panels and Starlink (satellite internet). I got quite a bit of work done during my stay and was also able to relax. The hostel is located at the edge of the village (about 5 min walking from where you arrive by boat), which means that it's very quiet and peaceful.

I was impressed with my room, it offered a sizeable double bed and the accomodation itself overlooked the Amazon river. where you can admire the sunrise and sunset. The staff were super helpful & friendly. The Maloka in the center of the accommodation offered the perfect space to browse the handmade artesanias, as well as enjoy a meal and meet local people and travellers alike. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Our trip to the Amazon was incredible. The best stay of our Colombian trip, we cannot recommend it enough. The food was local and they adapted to our preferences (my partner is vegetarian), the cabins were comfortable, cozy and we felt at home. The place is very nice, you have your own hut with private bathroom and balcony with a hammock facing a beautiful pond, where you can hear the famous Pirarucu fish jumping and see a baby cayman (you don't have to go further or buy a tour to see them). It is quite comfortable. I loved the hosts, Charlie, his wife and their children. They were all lovely, kind, helpful. Also, I loved that we could have genuine conversations with them, so you make a connection with the local people. They were also flexible to change my date and leave my luggage, when I went to stay the night within the jungle.

Everything! Leo and his family are kind and make you feel very welcome. The hotel is right next to the forest so you hear birds and other nature sounds and you can spot monkeys from the hammock. The food was also really delicious and the tours Leo offers were amazing.

The best place for your unforgettable Amazon experience!! Staying with the Tikuna family of German, Sara and Calet makes you feel like you’re part of their life and community! The activities (all guided by locals from the community) offered by Reina Arriera are enough to stay for more than a week, but even in 2 days you can have a great experience. The Accomodation has potable water all day, the bathroom (always clean) and shower water are treated and there’s even wifi. The food cooked by Sara is always delicious and uses fresh, natural ingredients.

Really nice location with a great view of the river and nature. We really enjoyed our stay. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Meals were good. What we liked the most are tours they offer. Specially the Peru one was great. They really take time and show you everything.
