We were at the end of our Colombian 3week roadtrip and kind of tired already. When we got to the Mompax, we were instantly amazed by this historical city. Magical. The hotel itself was extraordinary. The staff was super helpful and carried all our luggage from the car to the hotel. The pool had warm water and our kids swam in the evening and morning. We booked 2 rooms and they both were so stylish. Really felt inspired by this place. Also really safe with kids, because the street in front of the hotel is for pedestrians only. Really sad, we didnt get to spend more nights there. Mompox + San Rafael hotel = perfection! Highly recommend!

Our experience at Bioma Hotel was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by the incredibly friendly staff, who made sure we had everything we needed. The hotel itself is set in a stunning colonial home, beautifully preserved and full of charm. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and a great place to unwind after exploring Mompox. One of the highlights of our stay was Rosa at the reception—she went above and beyond to help us organize tours with reliable and knowledgeable local guides, making our trip even more special. The swimming pool was a huge plus, especially after long walks in the intense heat—it was the perfect way to refresh and relax. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was peaceful and serene, offering a true escape from the outside world. Every morning, we enjoyed a delicious and traditional breakfast, a great way to start our day. We truly loved everything about Bioma Hotel and can’t wait to return. The hotel is nice and clean and the staff has been super helpful. The hotel is located very near to the bus stop and 5 minutes walking to the city center (which is quite small, the distances in Mompós do not represent a problem). This hotel was greta value for money, very recommended!
