Everything was perfect, working, clean, and above expectations equipped. My first and so far only 10/10 stay. This is a jewel of a B&B. A true home feeling far away from home with the arenal adventures reasonably close and the best breakfast experience I had so far. Carlos is a super host, helping with all we needed, tour suggestions and reservations. From the front porch we could observe an armadillo, an opossum, and a family of toucans. Nuevo arenal is peaceful, quiet, feels safe, and is child friendly. Lighted sidewalks, kids playground with two good restaurants next to it, and a quite clean and nice lake access nearby gave our kids a relaxing break of travelling during our 5-night stay at Casa Donna Rosa. If we travel through Costa Rica again, we will definitely rebook.

This place is amazing . I originally booked due to the location , right on the banks of lake Arenal . It was ideal for me with good fishing and Kayaks to use just at the bottom of the garden . The accommodation was perfect , one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in , nice warm , powerful shower and all the facilities you need . The apartment was spotlessly clean and the breakfast was delicious. The owners were really nice , genuine, friendly people . They were happy to go out of their way to make sure you had a good time and a great stay . Highly recommend, one of the best places I have ever stayed .

A beautiful compact villa with a wonderful view over the lake. Comfortable beds and nice bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and a nice garden. It's close enough to all the attractions of Arenal (we enjoyed hanging bridges, Zipline, kayak, hiking and watching the local fauna) as well as supermarkets, restaurants and cafés. At the same time it is in a quiet area, so we could thoroughly enjoy the stay with our family. The owner is very nice and helpful. Highly recommended!

The space, we were a family of four and we each had our own bedrooms and bathrooms. The house had everything needed including a large laundry room with a washer and dryer! We enjoyed a barbecue on the large outdoor patio, which has stunning views.

The breakfast was lovely and different each morning. It was so fresh with plenty of fruit and lovely coconut bread. It was lovely to have breakfast and watch the birds enjoying the fruit that is put out for them each morning. We also had dinner each evening and the menu was so varied and very international. Eyal is a fantastic host, he is a big character and is so welcoming to all guests. The food was absolutely incredible and we ate in each evening as we did not want to go out and miss his wonderful food. Truly outstanding flavours and quality. Such a beautiful setting. Our room was the jungle room and we loved the jungle theme decoration. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was great. We had a really good balcony overlooking the lake.
