Fantastic place, really comfortable, excellent wifi, secure parking for the motorcycles, use of the kitchen, even advice on local sights, tours, places to eat etc.

We stayed one night before our trip to Irazu. They allowed an early check in as well as keeping the luggage the next day until afternoon, so we do not have to keep it in the car unprotected. The owner and her son is very kind, told us many interesting information about the location, gave us tips and so on. Car parking possible on the spot. Very clean.

The backyard was wonderful to chill out, even the road in front of the house was busy. We felt peaceful and relaxed. The house is close to Walmart, so it’s convenient for family. In addition, the host is helpful and thoughtful. We appreciated his hospitality.

We travelled across Costa Rica for 2 weeks and stayed at different price ranges. However, when we arrived at the appartement we straight away knew this was the best place we had stayed both because of the friendly owners and the appartement itself. You don't have a view on a waterfall, pool or things like that but that is well compensated by the rest, if you can book 2 nights in one go do it to treat yourself! 10/10

You pay for the stunning views The owners, as usual in this country, are very nice, very kind and helpful. The views from the small living room / kitchen as well as the master bedroom is stunning. The cabin is smaller than we expected and pretty basic. We had very limited water pressure and almost no hot water in the shower. We did not wash our hair, thanks the lack of water we could not have rinsed the soap away. There is no kettle, hence we used the … thing. It resembles a one pot electric cooker and needs approximately 20 minutes to boil half a cup of water. Later that day we where given a kettle, which improved things. Carlos, our landlord, claims the tap water to be fresh mountain water. And up to a specific point he is probably right with that. The specific point will be the tank in which he stores the water. With outside temperature above 20 degrees at daytimes, that tank is a breeding ground for things, micro-biologists are interested in. If those things actually improve your digestion is up to the test. The water from the tap is greenish and I would not use it without boiling. There is no drawer or shelf or anything you could store clothes in. So we used the second bedroom which is packed with a bunk bed and a single bed. Same in the bathroom, no space to put anything. The checkin was massively disappointing. We received a message the night before, that the room was ready for use. So we started our day early and arrived before noon, just to find the entire lodge locked. As there is no cellphone network in the area, we had to borrow a neighbours wifi and sent a message, that was answered hours later. So all we could was sit and wait… With the cabins only modest equipment, the shower with limited water, a health risk assigned to the tap water, I find the cabin with 80 USD we had to pay massively overpriced. But keep in mind: the view is amazing and the landlord very kind.

Spacious rooms, great views, well equipped kitchen, good beds, helpful and friendly hosts, quiet. Secure place as the house is situated in the secured property of the owners. Perfectly situated to visit Orosy vally, kartago and other tourist spots in the central vally e.g. Lankaster Botanical Garden

The host and family were so kind and helpful. They make us feel very welcome, the breakfast was so good, the accommodation is so unique, tranquil and full of interesting things to see. They have lovely friendly dogs. We really enjoyed the time there and felt right at home.

What I loved the most is the hummingbirds experience!!! There's no other place that offers such a unique set up.
