The most amazing location! Be prepared for the thin air but totally worth the experience. The hosts were superb and couldn't do enough for us. The cabinas were clean and everything was spot on. They were beautifully situated for incredible views. Huge breakfasts and fresh trout for dinner.

The hotel is very special. We had our own cosy lodge. The staff is very friendly and helpful. As it can be a bit cold at night, we even had hot-water bottles. There is also a heater. In the spacious area of the Trogon Lodge, there is very much to see, for example different species of plants and animals like humming birds, lizards and even Quatzals. The lodge does also offer a shorter and a longer exciting hiking track in the cloud forest. We booked a Quetzal watching tour in the morning and really saw about 5 Quetzals.
