Beautiful wooden house in midst of green, lovely birdwatching from the windows, comfortable beds and lots of space. Allan was a great host - gave us a very interesting tour of the farm and his team cooked most delicious dinners for us in the evenings. We loved it here!

Fabulous staff. Beautiful room. We arrived after a long hike and they really took care of us. It was my husband's 60th birthday and they took the time to leave balloons and a card for him in our room and offered to deliver breakfast to our room too. Breakfast was fabulous. There was a great balcony for everyone where you can watch the sunset.

We loved our stay at Chira glamping. It exceeded our expectations. Amazing facilities, comfortable bed, incredible views and so peaceful and relaxing. Great products in the room as well. Everything was so clean and we were really well looked after by Douglas. Breakfast was also lovely.

Staff were very welcoming and knowledgable about surrounds and tours assisting us greatly with getting around and seeing what we had hoped to visit. Joselyn and Erica were so lovely and kitchen staff also very friendly and attentive. There was a resident sloth in the garden which was a treat. The grounds were maintained beautifully with many butterflies. Flowers in room which was also a special touch. Rooms were large and very comfortable. We loved our stay and felt very welcomed. Thank you.

Outstanding first impression as we rolled up and were greeted by the friendly staff and relaxing ambience. The bed was extremely comfortable, loved the turn -down service and the restaurant. The food was delicious. Modern, gourmet creations using mostly local ingredients.

Located 5 minutes' drive from Santa Elena town centre, and 4.9 miles from Monteverde, Costa Rica.

This a a great small boutique hotel, location is wonderful, walkable to town if you don't mind hills. The staff was very friendly, breakfast was great. We ate on an outdoor terrace with a very active bird show of Motmots and small Toucans. We highly recommend driving to the hotel on the next road (it would be a long walk in the dark) to experience a magical sunset at the Valle Escondido Hotel & Farm, they do forest tours there too.
