Location was great, not too far of a drive for the day of arrival it placed us very close to our first activity on the following day. Poás Volcano and Bajos del Toro Blue Falls trail. The restaurant was great, we had a very tasty warm meal upon our arrival and breakfast was great. The whole facility was beautiful and well groomed. Staff were nice and extremely helpful. They helped us book online the tickets we needed while we used their computer.

We knew Poas Volcano Lodge would be a nice place, but it turned out to be much nicer than we expected. The entrance as you drive through the dairy farm is lovely, and the hotel's grounds are much bigger than I thought. We stayed in the main building and found the style and the architecture very nice, incredibly spacious, very well kept. There are multiple lounge areas - the photos don't do them justice. The rooms are large, the bed really comfortable, and the view over the volcano is beautiful. We had dinner on site which was ok - like a nice homely meal - and then enjoyed a few glasses of wine by the fire on one of their many couches. Overall, we were quite surprised and delighted by how lovely our stay was. If you're looking for a place that's cute, cozy, but of a high standard then this is it.

We were very happy to stay at this lovely small hotel with a beautiful garden and friendly hosts 🌸 The spacious, well-kept garden is wonderful, with funny rabbits freely hopping around🥰 Everything is very clean, and the breakfast and dinner were delicious. Not far from Poás volcano. The shorter road is quite steep but not the worst I had in Costa Rica I think it only took me just over 5 minutes. This was the most comfortable bed from all the places I stayed at. And the cabin is so very nicely built and decorated that you can tell that the quest's comfort is the priority for the hosts.
