right in the centre of town the location is wonderfull. the old architecture with high ceilings is very nice, and great ocean views across to Brava. best of all are the excellent staff, who, in our case of an emergency went out of their way to help us - really left a lasting feeling of warmth with us

Yeah hotel very secure clean but needs refurbishment realy heeds staff very good at breakfast at reception cleaner over all my favourite place .I have stay room 212 lovely room but cupboard door furniture need lots attention door as well very young team all very good i will stay again this is 3 time Bed vere comfortable good views to Brava islandas. I lived the old colonial time house, which was transformed into the hotel. Renovation is really well done which preserves the spirit of the building and is very atmospheric. Emmanuel, chef of staff is very friendly and helpful. He also makes great cocktails! Best place to stay in Sao Filipe.

Absolutely fantastic! Very nice stay in a “funco” house, typical from “Chá das Caldeiras”. The hosts Léa and Joao are really really nice, the breakfast prepared by Isabela is also amazing. A real place to stay if you intend to visit Portela in Chá das Caldeiras.
