Dirk messaged to explain where to park, which was a great help. He welcomed us to the boat and showed us how everything worked. He gave us information about places to eat, shops etc. The boat is a quirky way to spend a few days on the river. It had a refrigerator, radio and cooking facilities. Everything you could need for a short stay. The location could not have been better, well within easy reach of the town. The sunrise and sunsets were breathtaking. I travelled with my 7 year old son who made each day an adventure. He really didn't want to leave. I'd highly recommend this to smaller families. It is hands down a better experience than a hotel room. I'd definitely try to stay here again.

The vch hotel is a perfect location in greifswald due to kind and efficient staff, vey good quality at right price. Even though is not downtown, the bus stop is in front of the hotel.
