Traveling as a family, our children didn’t want to leave — they especially loved the trampoline and the table tennis. A memorable stay that combines heritage, comfort, and family-friendly fun.

An intimate, beautifully located hotel. You can feel the history of the place. We stayed in the old palace. Very good breakfast, fresh products, delicious coffee. Large parking lot. Great value for money.

This is not a 4-star hotel, it is to large extent simple in its rooms and facilities but a place with amazing history from about 1000 A.D. to East German times. If you enjoy remarkable places but do not require polished 3-star (or above) conditions, this place might amaze you. I would have loved to roam the castle buildings as a kid. Note: No lifts in the castle, you need to be able to use staircases.
