Fantastic property renovated by the family to a high standard. Bit of a mix up with collecting the keys late at night and ended up in the main house! Family were however fantastic and I was treated to a history of the property and surroundings by the owner on the second day. Rare to find something authentic, with character and history. Great location and a tonic if working locally.

I'm not a guy who writes reviews, but in this case it's needed. We massively enjoyed our stay! Our hostess was delightful, the grounds were fantastic, the bed was comfy, and the breakfast was sooooooooooo good. Fresh flowers on every plate, unexpected little plates of delicious food combinations (like beets and goat cheese). There were horses, dogs, cats, and ducks hanging around. A full kitchen in the hotel building for guests to use as they wish. Just a fantastic gem of a place, I give it my highest recommendation!

Location, facilities, staff. We stayed in Dschungel Lodges. We loved the overall concept, nice cozy beds and a real feel of staying in a jungle. A perfect get-away for the weekend. Room was clean and tidy, with all basic “must be” amenities and toiletries. I loved the compact bathroom, superbly designed. Also the sit-out area is well thought about.

This guest house is situated in the village of Hodenhagen, 4 km from the A7 motorway. It offers free Wi-Fi and a spa with a small indoor pool, sauna, steam room and massages.
