That was really a fantastic stay! The staff was very kind, helping us in an early check-in. The rooms are big, clean and the view is really amazing. The roof-top bar was extremely good for relaxing and swimming and we also enjoyed their dinners, as well. Wide selection of wines (especilly red wines). Highly recommended!

The hotel and the location are exquisite. The food can vary from excellent to ok from dish to dish but all that is minor in comparison to the quality of service. This is probably one of the best trained teams I have ever encountered. They have purpose and do everything with pleasure and a smile. It makes for a total luxury experience. The material part which is impecable is nothing in comparison with the experience of being made to feel very special by every member of the team. Congratulations that is luxury hospitality. 👏👏

Everything was clean, I was given beach towels in addition to normal shower towels and Richard was super helpful. I arrived on a day with heavy thunderstorms and he invited me to have homemade dinner so I wouldn't have to go out in the rain. The location is also great. It's only a very short walk to the boat terminal where tours to Los Haitises and the ferry to Sabana de la Mar depart from.

Sleeping and waking up in the jungle, hearing to its sounds. Just magnificent. The lodge is well maintained and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. This hotel is like a castle over the samana town. What did i like? The great location, as the samana bay is my favorite spot in DR. The breathtaking views over the sea from the very comfortable room, from the pool, from the elevators... what else? The staff, very friendly n helpful..the large choice of nice food... What else? The decoration of the hotel, full of nice paintings, the excursions available around samana bay (seeing the whales is a must)..what else? The large pool with seaview and bar... Everything was great as a matter of fact...Ah cherry on the top: an incredible elevator that brings you right to the beach!
