We were happily surprised by Chukirawa. The rooms were cosy and exceptionally warm with the wood stove, which allowed us to dry all our wet hiking gear. We even managed to get an electric heater overnight to keep our two little ones (1 and 3 yr olds) warm all night. The food was so good, and I highly recommend the vegetarian option (stuffed eggplant was amazing!). The breakfast was one of the best we had on the Quilitoa loop (note that breakfast is served upstairs!). I recommend spending a night here, as some people hiked for 7+ hours in torrential rain, and only got a view of the beautiful lagoon the following morning.

Very generous food portions, good wifi, all rooms en-suite and very warm at night, additional food and drinks extremely reasonably priced, yoga studio and games room, also have a Turkish bath but I didn’t use it.

Really nice hotel with amazing paintings! She prepared a really delicious meal for us too, surprised us with decoration for our honeymoon and turned on the whirlpool just for us. Everything was great and it's a good spot to start to the quiltao Lagune and rest when it's raining.

Cute little family run accommodation. Perfect for finishing the Quilatoa Loop. Dinner and breakfast were great - tasty and plenty of food. Room was large, clean and had a fireplace inside the room in case it got cold.

We had two rooms, one family room on the top floor with lots of light. And another double downstairs. Both rooms had personal fireplaces which the staff lit at night, this was a nice service however for us personally the room got far too hot and we struggled to sleep until the room cooled down. Everything was clean, shower was super hot. Comfy bed and pillows. Close to the lake and bus station.

Rooms are very basic and there is no heating. The bathroom wasn't very clean and the beds are quite bad. Plus there is no hot water in the upper floors. The family running the bussiness is very helpful and friendly and they cooked a nice dinner. Overall, price is quite expensive for what you get.

The location is great and close to the lagoon. We booked 2 nights and changed our plans so we wanted a refund for the second night and they agreed. The food was nice.
