Greeting, welcome and customer service from older gentleman upon arrival, Cleanliness, bed linens, air conditioning, peaceful and quiet, sitting areas in the facility, water pressure and temperature in the bathroom. Presence of a front office employee when I left early around 6:00am. I highly recommend this hotel and will book it again when in Astorga.

We were walking the Camino de Santiago and this was a perfect stay. Loved the room, restaurant for lunch and the breakfast buffet. The desk staff went above and beyond to find us a farmacia open on Sunday.

The high ceilings were great. It was a minute off the Camino, so it was quieter than the albergues on the route I suppose. I didn't ride a bicycle, but others that night did and they could put their bikes inside the main door (which was the entrance to a mini square with chairs and plants). The bathroom was quite good. The common area was comfortable with tea and a water kettle. I liked being able to dry clothes on a rack outside that had direct sunlight until sunset.

This is a very quiet village and a really nice place to stay, the historic farm house has been made into a lovely place, with Kitchen, living area shower and bed on a mezzanine platform . A really clean and well presented property and friendly helpful host.

A stunning 100 year old house in a truly peaceful location. There was lots to like in this living museum and our dog loved the walled garden. Astorga, at about 10 minutes distance, is well worth a visit and has all the restaurants and supermarkets that you might need. Daniel, who is very helpful, is doing a great job of restoring this house to its former glory.

    Juan, the owner, was lovely, a proper Spanish gentleman, welcoming, and very friendly. The location was amazing, close to everything, and safe, secure parking on site was perfect. The hotel had 11th generation family history and was so interesting to see various historical artefacts. Would definitely stay again and recommend. The gardens and surroundings were pretty too

    We were there walking the Camino Frances. The camino is literally right out front. Great location. The man that showed us our rooms (there were 4 of us so we needed 2 rooms) said the hotel was a house that had been in his family for over 200 years. Lovely antiques were everywhere. Just a cool place. 200 euros for 2 double rooms.

    Nice room in an old private estate (the house is owned by the family since more than 200 years) with much flair. Very nice and peaceful garden with fountain; car park near the house. Very friendly and guest minded owner - muchas gracias!

    I didn’t even use the spa facilities and I felt perfectly restored after a very long day. Slept like a baby on the most comfortable bed. Great bathroom, everything excellent. It’s on the camino, so useful when leaving in the morning!
