I loved how close, helpful, welcoming and friendly the hosts are. Maria is lovely, and the rest of her family were really friendly. Everything was clean, the decoration was warm and cosy, in a nice rustic style and they had all details very curated. They were very flexible and made thing very easy. My children loved the animals, which they got to feed some day. Swimming pool is lovely.

Talaya is a beautiful oasis of super clean, very pretty, modern apartments and studios located just in front of a stunning stretch of beach, with views of the sea from most rooms. Lovely grounds with chill out areas and a fantastic apartment that is fully equipped with literally everything you could need and even things you didn't even know you needed. The staff were brilliant - friendly and unobtrusive. Gabrielle, the manager was super helpful and arranged a car (to my specific requirements) for me. There are little chiringuitos nearby and the local big hotel has a great shop for food/drinks/general supplies. I visited on my own, off-season and would recommend hiring a car as there wasn't an enormous choice of restaurants open (during the period of my stay) within easy walking distance at night - although you could of course cook in the fully equipped kitchen. Talaya exceeded my expectations and I had a blissful 10 night stay there.

The pictures are good, but the property is even better! This is a fabulous house on a quiet plot that is a quick walk to the main town (about 15 leisurely minutes). Wonderful if you’re looking for a place to relax and unwind. The house is large and is fully stocked. The outdoor area is just fabulous; lots of places to sit and relax, and would be great for kids (swing, toys, space to run around). We met Graciela and her daughter (the owner/hosts) and they were super accommodating. Graciela was very willing to help us get around the island (she picked us up a couple of times and drove us where we needed to go). She gave us recommendations for dining and excursions and was just very, very friendly. This is the kind of property where you simply show up with your suitcase and everything else is there waiting for you!
