An idyllic place to spend a night while on the Camino. Alex is just lovely and nothing is too much trouble. He is so proud that he has managed to fulfil his grandfather’s and father’s dream and renovate the old farmhouse as a Pensión. He has done a wonderful job with the help of a great architect. It is gorgeous and well worth a visit.

OMG...what didn't I like about Pazo Santa Maria. This hidden gem is absolutely OUTSTANDING in every way. I consider myself a pampered pilgrim and only stay at stunning places. Pazo Santa Maria just stole my heart. It's so peaceful, so sophisticated, so elegant. Old world charm at it's finest. Everything was beyond perfection! I would love to go back!!!

Lovely old farm house with large garden. Shower was great. Could do laundry in the washing machine. Coffee machine with coffee provided, and teas. Exceptional value for money (early May).

Very nice and welcoming host. Location is superb, right across the monastery. Rooms are spacious and clean. The kitchen downstairs is lovely and offers enough to have a good start to the day.

The property is beautiful, clean and spacious. The food is to die for and very good quality. What makes this place even more special is the hosts. The couple pour love into what they do and that is extended to the food and home. Their ethos on good quality, local and additive free food. We had found this perfect cafe is Palas de rei, Bocata Way with the nicest man and a few hours later he was here and happened to also own this property. It was one of those moments, you had to be there! Overall, purely magical!

Very welcoming, secure, lovely, clean, immaculately presented apartment. After a long walk, we were very thankful for the food in the fridge, bagels and coffee etc, as the local Bar was closed for food. Big thank you again to hosts! Highly recommend particularly for couples.

Stunning apartment....so easy to find on our arrival into Arzua. The rooms are so spacious, clean and comfortable. The shower is incredible and soooo lovely after a long day walking. The basket of treats was very welcome also.
