Words cant describe how we felt but i ll try me best. Everything was amazing, you don't come here to stay in a hotel you come here to stay with your fijian family. I've never met such welcoming and loving people. We extended our stay just because it was too hard to say goodbye and we were not the only ones who decided so. They sing and dance every night and treat you as they treat their family. The activities are super fun, we were swimming with up to 15 sharks, spear fishing and hiking to watch the sunrise. On Sunday they invited us to their church service which was such a nice experience. The food is really tasty and always fresh and they always have some traditional dishes, not to mention the kava ceremony. The location is superb, the reef is colourful and full of fish and is right in front of the hotel. We had tears in our eyes when we had to leave.....

Everyone was so friendly, we saw mantarays and we dropped in 3/4 times to see them we they were out. Plenty of activities to do and just swimming and snorkeling on the beach was so fun. Food was surprisingly good too!

Most welcoming and friendly family and very authentic village! Really good food and a lot, they even cooked vegetarian for me! Nice activities, it never gets boring. The beach is beautiful too. Small room but comfy bed with mosquito net. We would have loved to stay longer. Thank you very much Silo, Bill, Va and Rob for making our stay great! Extra info because it’s one of the first reviews: We got picked up from the ferry by boat (extra cost), very good food provided for 50FJD/day per person, bathroom simple with bucket toilet and shower in a little shelter next door, no supermarket in the village so bring what you need (mosquito repellent and sun screen!). Solar panels provide power through the day and lights, but no fan (was not too hot for us). Covering clothes and no hats/sunglasses while walking the village, beach is fine :) Bringing a gift to the chief of the village is also part of etiquette.

Jolame and Marie are very kind people, caring for everyone and very welcoming to their house. We had the best stay, luckily for us we had two nights without other visitors and had plenty of time to engage with Maria, talk about life on the island and enjoy quiet place. It's located at the end of the village, tucked away from the resort, yet it's a short walk to the main beach, and you can grab a drink at the Wayalailai resort. Jolame organised all activities for us, no problem. We recommend doing the hike with a guide, not just for safety (I am sure we could do the walk by ourselves if somebody pointed us the right direction) but also for a good talk about the village and the place. Apex was a great guide and very fun to spend time with. Sweet Marie did her best to accommodate my dietary requirements, and her food was magic, thank you!

The meals were a highlight in this friendly low budget resort. I stayed in other fancy resorts around the islands and Way Lai Lai Eco Haven had BETTER food and views. The manager was always available and helpful. The prices of the tours/activities were affordable and cheaper than in other places. The hike during sunset has stunning views. Will definitely recommend this place!!

Really family orientated and really lovely people that seriously go the extra mile to satisfy all your needs (Rake the sand). Whilst this resort is not for the very Luxurious stay, you will be able to immerse yourself in a true Fiji experience, with abundance and quality of food and activities! Thanks once again for having us!

Wonderful people, excellent selection of buffet food. Quiet, lots of different trips to do. We don’t have kids but they were really good with those there, singing songs and entertaining. Comfy beds, plenty of space in the rooms. Can pay by card.

The staff are very friendly. Staying at the Eco Lodge felt like staying with a family. It felt more like summer camp than a resort and I mean that as a compliment!

We came as strangers and left as family. It was nice to be a part of the beautiful culture and see many villages. There are so many fun activities including snorkling with reef sharks, kayaking, scuba diving, and hiking. The views were amazing. The food was so good and lots of variety at each meal. We spent 6 nights here and would totally recomend for anyone wanting to stay here to spend as much time to get the full experience and connection with the locals.
