We had an absolutely fantastic stay at L'Orée du Mont! The location is perfect—so close to Mont Saint-Michel, yet peaceful and relaxing. What truly made our stay unforgettable was the incredible hospitality of our host, Cristine. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. The place is exceptionally child-friendly—there were toys and even special silverware just for our son, which made him feel so at home. As someone who is lactose intolerant, I was genuinely touched that Cristine specially bought almond milk for me. That level of thoughtfulness is rare and deeply appreciated. Everything was clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained. We can’t recommend this place enough and would love to return someday. Thank you for such a warm and memorable experience!

The atmosphere in the house was amazing. We felt that each detail of the house was made and decorated with love and a good sense of beauty. We were so impressed by the view of the Abbey Le Mont Saint Michel from a small window of the bedroom. It's definitely worth staying here for several days. This place is ideal for families with children. The hospitality of the owners was at the highest level. It seemed we met our good old friends)

    The apartment can be better described as hotel room with shared kitchen/dinning room and private bathroom. Kitchen/dinning room is for guests use only (not shared with the host). Room is of average size with spacious bathroom. Everything was clean and tidy. We took a ground floor room with terrace which was nice. Breakfast was average but good enough to start a day. Coffee/tea was available throughout the day. Considering location car is a must. Free parking available on site.

    Second nights stay, excellent, wish we could stay longer. The property is outstanding but meeting the family was the highlight. Having been to France multiple times in the last 15+ years, we have had lots of bad experiences but this truly restored our faith in the French people, the family are genuinely some of the nicest people we’ve met. We would go out of our way to stay here if we visit France again in the future. Their english is excellent, possibly better than ours 😁

    The hosts were exceptional. They have a passion for the service they provide and which is catered for all tastes. As I was travelling with kids, we particularly enjoyed the beautiful garden, the dog, the impromptu football game on the manicured lawn. The breakfasts were very tasty full of fresh products from the garden and surrounding suppliers.

    Fantastic host, Tatiana is so accommodating and generous with her time. We stayed in the old chapel, we were blown away by the property and the renovation has been completed to an extremely high standard. Lots of space for kids to run around outside. Wish we could stay longer. Once you have a car, proximity to Mont St. Michel is excellent, 11 mins to an Intermarché if you need supplies.

    Lovely place, garden, house, room and family (incl dog). Very good location to start walking to Mont st Michele. Much better than ordinary road/bridge

    amazing hosts and amazing property with pleasant rooms and excellent atmosphere. excellent breakfast and the VINCENT couple are really great hosts and gave us wonderful advise for places to see in the area. thanks a lot the VINCENT family for wonderful time.
