On this occasion we did not stay at the property. We were visiting on a fleeting visit for a funeral. Friends locally said we could stay with them at the last minute. Philippe was very communicative from the start of the booking process and was happy to keep the room for us in case our plans changed at the last minute. He was very accommodating and helpful especially under the circumstances.

The hotel is situated in the quiet village of Chavange which has a few shops and services. The building is very old but has been renovated really well and has many luxuries. We had a bedroom which was a part of a gite so we had access to a large kitchen/living room. The bed was the most comfortable that we have ever slept in! Bruno the owner was really helpful and he provided us with a delicious breakfast. They have a massive selection of Nespresso coffees! There are some modern houses nearby but the area was still very peaceful. We stayed an extra day because we liked it so much!

Beautiful Chateau. Quiet grounds in a park like setting. Staff was helpful. Good massages on offer. Very good breakfast, dinner and room service. The room was great with a proper big bed. Decorated nicely. Loved the hotel. Everything about it. We stayed 2 nights. Used as a hub to explore Rennes (Great city!) and Dinan. I wish we would have stayed longer. Best hotel of our 10 day trip in Brittany.
