In my opinion, this is the most perfect of chambres-d'hôtes. The house is 17th-century, upgraded in the 19th and has only had the most tasteful and conservative of recent renovations. Guy and Elisabeth are wonderful hosts, with nothing too much trouble, always discretely attentive, with excellent meals and nice furniture. The situation could not be more rural though within easy reach of main roads, and has a wonderful walk set out on their own land. I could have stayed a lifetime!

Situated in Le Merlerault, in a historic building, 37 km from Halle au Blé, La Berlandière is a guest house with a garden and barbecue facilities.
