Lovely, new cabins by the river. Perfect as a base for cycling or hiking. Thanks to Pascale for meeting us at the station after our train was delayed. Close to the GC café for food overlooking the lake and swimming.

We stayed at Loft Atypique for 4 nights in July, and our experience was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. Michel and Nathalie were fantastic hosts—genuinely warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel completely at home, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and memorable. The loft itself is a true gem. It was immaculately clean, bright, and spacious, with an elegant yet cozy ambiance. What made it especially unique was the beautiful artwork created by Nathalie, displayed throughout the space. Her pieces added a personal, artistic flair that made the loft feel both inspiring and deeply inviting. The property surrounding the loft is equally stunning. The landscaping was beautifully maintained, with lush gardens and a peaceful, natural atmosphere. Fruit trees dotted the grounds and we were delighted to discover that many of the fresh fruits grown on the property were used in the dishes served at breakfast. That connection to the land made everything feel even more special and authentic. Speaking of breakfast—it was truly a highlight. Each morning, we were treated to a generous spread that exceeded our expectations. Fresh homemade pastries, breads, fruit, cheese, and local specialties filled the table. Everything was prepared with such care, and the flavors were exceptional—especially the desserts made with fruit picked just steps away from the kitchen. It’s rare to find a place that offers both such beautiful accommodations and such heartfelt hospitality. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would wholeheartedly recommend Loft Atypique to anyone visiting the area. It’s more than just a place to stay—it’s an experience you’ll remember fondly.

Everything. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The breakfast was great. We loved the fresh baked bread. Sitting in the garden watching the sunset was wonderful. The hosts are welcoming and very friendly. They gave us great information that helped us plan the next steps of our journey.
