We loved the house, the owners were very kind and helpful, the breakfast was very nice and the location of the hotel was perfect - right between the old and new cities of Carcassonne. Private parking was a bonus as was the pretty pool in the rear yard. Many good restaurants in easy walking distance was appreciated.

We had a very enjoyable stay. The apartment was very clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. There were plenty of fans and AC too, which was appreciated as we were there during the heatwave. The street is very narrow, so you have to be quick unloading if you are coming by car, as other traffic cannot get past. We didn't find that a problem though, as it's not a particularly busy street. There is both free and paid parking nearby. The location was very convenient for all the restaurants on Place Carnot where we ate twice. Bakeries and supermarket also very close by. About a half an hour walk to the medieval city walls. It was quiet despite its central location. Host Serge was very helpful.

This little apartment is in a perfect location. It's on a side street that's a cul de sac. When you come out the door, if you turn right, you walk into the old castle full of lovely little street with cafes, restaurants, and shops. If you turn left, there is a beautiful walk along a canal/river bank. Everything is within walking distance. I took 2 taxis while I was here. 1 from train station to apartment for Eur11 and 1 to the airport for Eur22.00. Both fares were about right for distance travelled. The apartment was easy to access, key left in a lock box, there are a few steps (approx 8 to 10)inside the door leading up to the apartment door, but they are easy to manage. The furniture is very comfortable, especially the sofa and armchair.. The shower is excellent. Good supply strength and plenty of hot water on demand. The mattress and pillows were tops for comfort. The old bridge is a 4 minute walk. I wasn't mad about the new yown or the square. There wasn't much to do or see in the area. The canal and old city were the best spots. Really enjoyed the boat trip on the canal. Worth every penny. Didn't need to rent a bike. Maybe next time. The two little cakes on arrival were perfect touch. Also the additional supplies, rice, pasta, salt, spices, oil, tea and coffee. Thank you. I highly recommend and would stay here again without hesitation.

Very comfortable and clean room. There is its own terrace with a gorgeous view. The room has a refrigerator, electric kettle, coffee machine, air conditioning. Private Parking next to the apartment. I would like to say a special thanks to the hostess, we were delayed on the road, and arrived late at night. The hostess kindly waited for us, accommodated us, explained everything. And in the morning treated us to delicious homemade pastries . We are very grateful for the hospitality ! Great place for a vacation ! Recommended
