The place is charming and surreal, A former Abbey farm, it's full of history and almost feel like living in fairy tales land. And most of all, Kevin is an amazing host, always engaging and friendly, and took great care of us. We stayed for 2 nights and we are the only guests at the 1st night, which is amazing.

We stayed here after visiting Beauvais Cathedral. it is a really interesting chateau in a very quiet location. From what I was able to understand the owner is Iranian and has recruited Persian speaking Afghans to run the hotel and they did a good job (and spoke good French too). Chaumont-en-Vexin is very quiet in August and we ended up having to drive all the way over to Gisors to find a restaurant that was open for dinner.

    AMAZING property and grounds, breathtaking. Super green and lots of green spaces for kids to run around or explore the forest on a walk. They also had ping pong tables which occupied the boys for a while.
