The owner is friendly, accommodating and helpful. The rooms, toilets and showers are all functional and clean. It's a great base to explore the local ski resorts in the Queyras area and not too far from some of the bigger resorts like Serre Chevalier and Risoul. The evening meals are worth spending extra for. The owner prepares delicious home cooked meals, which you eat with the other guests at the communal tables.

Great location in the heart of Abries, there are plenty of restaurants, shops, bar just downstairs from the appartement. Perfect location in the heart of the mountains, you can walk, run, ride a bike just getting out of your appartement. There is everything you may need in the building - a small swimming pool, wet and dry sauna and small jacuzzi. Our appartement was well equipped and with a nice balcony. Would definitely stay again there, but in a bigger appartement.

Where to begin??? The building? Fascinating. Historic. Rambling old farm conversion that oozes warmth and makes you want to explore... The location? Perched high up overlooking mountains and valleys. Away from other buildings, it's super peaceful. The hosts? Nathan and his crew were brilliant. After dinner, guests are made to feel welcome and relax with a few drinks and share stories. It quickly feels like every one has been mates for years. Hikers love this place. And Nathan hires donkeys to take on hikes! Wish I had stayed longer!

Simple accomodation in a wide apartment with terrace and nice view on the mountains. Dinner was good with good service. We also had the pic-nic at 13€ each one. Breakfast is self-service and very rich with local products. The owner lady was very kind and helpful. Free parking in front of the hotel. The village of St.Veran is wonderful.

Fantastic location on the side of the mountain. The accommodation is a large block of apartments, it was very quiet with fantastic views of the valley from the balcony and windows. The restaurant buffet for breakfast and dinner had a lot of options, well cooked food, the cod was especially good with very good texture and taste. I was only staying for one night but had I done my homework properly I would have stayed longer and enjoyed the walks that start in the village. There is plenty of parking available outside, there are a couple of shops in the village and you can rent bicycles too. Overall I really enjoyed staying here, more than I thought I would. The peace and quiet and the lovely food and easy access was good. The kitchen in the apartment had lots of utensils, kettle, microwave and hob and pans and saucepans, plenty to keep you going for a couple of weeks if need be. The lady on reception was very helpful, many thanks to her I will be returning.
