I really liked the room in which I stayed. The room was very clean and comfortable. For sure I will try and book a room in this hotel if I ever get the chance to come back to Northern Ireland again.

Idyllic rural location - cows in field at fence, chickens around property, wildlife and birds yet only 15 minutes from big town, supermarkets etc for self-catering. Need car to be in this location. Grand-daughter (nearly 3) in party - property fenced - outdoor area - lots of kiddie size chairs (including rocker) - lots of toys including ride-on - cot, bunks - VERY suitable for children. Plenty of room inside - we had some very wet weather (September visit). A beautiful Northern Ireland country cottage with very helpful and delightful host! Easy access to main Northern Ireland tourist attractions - and the south.

Location close to supermarket, and a short drive to Game of Thrones Tour. Lovely Queen Anne style furniture in bedrooms; lots of hanging space in the wardrobe; bed and chairs were comfy. Removeble coathangers (not the ones that can only hang in the wardrobe on those silly silver hooks) so when I did some washing, I could hang the washing near the open window to dry overnight. A kettle in the room with t/c/s & milk. That may sound petty, but some hotels I have recently been staying at, had NO KETTLE etc.

Our Host Emily, emailed me the day before we arrived with the details how to get to the house & how to access the keys. I needed to ask a few more questions before our arrival and she got back to us very quickly. This weekend was a tonic for me and my friends, a group of mums looking to escape the craziness of everyday life. The weather was cold, windy and it rained all weekend...but we didn't care. Everything we needed was at Oaktree, a great kitchen to cook in, roaring fire, games and streaming services. We all had enough space to have our own time to relax and a common space in the kitchen to come together. Emily was an excellent host and was available when you needed her. We cant wait to run away again to Oaktree Manor
