Family hotels and homes in Bottesford

A beautifully clean bungalow with brand new kitchen, bathroom and ensuite in a very quiet part of Bottesford. Driveway even fitted both cars on which was great. The 2 double beds were very comfortable, we really couldn't fault it. The co-op was only a 3 minute walk away to get supplies. We had a most fantastic meal and service at Pauls Restaurant. We would definitely stay again if we come back this way. Thank you to the owners for accommodating my requests, their communication was superb.

Everything. Far better than a hotel room.

As we arrived to a warm welcome we immediately felt comfortable in our surroundings. A perfect peaceful location situated just outside Bottesford. Our double room was clean, well equipped and tastefully decorated with a nice comfy bed. The view from our room overlooked the large garden and pond at the back with a cottage and cattle sheds to the left. Breakfast was very nice with cereal, fruit, toast and full english on offer whilst sitting at a large communal table surrounded by lovely interesting antiques. Richard and Helen are very friendly, lovely people, and we enjoyed their hospitality.

Loved the quirkiness of the manor. It was in an ideal location.

Every thing was so clean. Separate toilets with a key and kitchenette to use was fabulous. Host was brilliant, my little boy fed the animals and was made to feel super welcome! ☺️

Peaceful, pretty village location. Tastefully furnished three bedroom cottage. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be booking this cottage again on our next trip to the UK.

The setting was stunningly beautiful, the room was just beautiful and there were so many lovely touches to make our stay special: amazing carrot cake on arrival, delicious breakfast in the most delightful breakfast room …

The location was perfect, peaceful and very relaxing. On arrival we were met by both Roger & Carole who both explained the local area and Carole gave a tour of the accommodation and showed how to use the centra; heating remote. It is a very old building with very thick walls, the decoration is very eclectic and really unique. Plenty of hot water on arrival and the lovely welcoming gift of some rather nice biscuits was a very welcome gift. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you would require, Plenty of chairs to choose from for relaxation. Table & Chairs in the garden to allow you to eat outside in the secure dog friendly garden. Plenty of trees in the garden behind (the owners land) which gives the property a very secure feeling. The village is really friendly and we met a lot of people on our dog walking. The local fish and chip shop were really nice people and again very helpful with interests within the local area/ The local coop was well stocked and again friendly staff. The local church is only a few feet away and we were delighted to be able to sit in the garden and listen to the bell ringing being practiced. Carole & Roger were more than happy to chat to us about the history of the house and the local area. We only stayed for 2 nights but we both felt like we had been away much longer due to the peace and quiet and the relaxed nature of the village and surrounding area. No speeding cars through the local area so it always felt safe walking with the dogs. There is a lovely large secure front garden and that is kept as a meadow which brings in wildlife. There is a gate across the front shared driveway so again, you are fully secure if you have dogs or smaller aged children. Can highly recommend the property as a relaxing place to stay. Bear in mind it is rural so you will see spiders within the property but they cause no concern.

A little gem of a place. Very conveniently, owners and staff were friendly and helpful from first to last. The room was extremely clean and comfortable, with all the facilities you could possibly wish for. The drinks,meals, in the bar was excellent, will be returning in the near future.
