Had a great welcome pack. Beds were comfortable, the wood burning stove was great and fun to use. It felt like a Snow White Cottage . The space outside was incredible as was the wildlife. We even saw a deer. The wifi, dvd's were great. It was dog friendly and also not too far away from Carlisle. The whole family were very nice . The bar/restaurant staff were also great despite being run off their feet with a function going on. We also really liked that there was a pool. It was just a one-night stop for us on route elsewhere but it was really pleasant and we decided to book the same place for a stop on route back home. Our room was very comfortable and I loved the bath with a view. My kids loved the Duplo (large lego) box that was left at our door to play with. Breakfast was simple but good. Lovely back garden, and hot tub. I felt it would be the perfect place to go for a celebratory break with friends or family members due to the size of the living room table, beautiful outdoor area, games room and the number of beds.
