Original old building that’s been tastefully updated - great bathroom with lovely products, comfy couch and bed, garden view, good lighting, connectivity and plenty of good coffee/tea etc. Hosts friendly and helpful. Restaurant downstairs is delightful and served best food we’ve had in UK. Lovely countryside, good pub just down the road. Best place we’ve stayed. Loved it. 😊

This Shepards hut was clean, comfortable and homely and had everything needed to prepare a simple meal, the log burner made for a cosy evening, the bed offered the perfect nights sleep and Julia was the perfect host. We were greeted by the host Maryl on arrival.She had a big smile on her face she made us feel very welcome.I was stunned by the beauty of the cottage and the surroundings,it is out of the world beautiful.I felt very overwhelmed and truly amazed.The fire was lit and was so cozy and warm.The whole cottage has a very cozy feeling ,high quality and sustainable.The beds,the duvets and blankets,all furniture is very comfortable.There are little touches here and there ,which just put a smile on your face .I was truly impressed of how thoughtful the hosts and how they created the whole space just to enhance the experience.It’s spotless as well.I am impressed of how they can maintain such a level of cleanliness in such a rural location.The cottage is in the middle of rolling hills ,grazing sheep.Absolutely perfect for hikes or just relaxing.We we’re out and about most of the time didn’t care about the weather at all ,just enjoying it. Wi-Fi was good even though there was no reception which I absolutely loved it.There is a little spot outside the house where you can check you texts or missed calls and that’s it. We had great time maybe one of our best holidays ever.

We received a very warm and friendly welcome and Amanda went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. The beds were super comfy and the heated blankets were an extra bonus after a long drive. The breakfast was top notch and we were so lucky to be offered a breakfast to go one morning when we were up early.
