The property was very accommodating to dogs which is a must for us as we always travel with them, there’s a big field on site where they could run but there is also a little walled off garden. We only needed somewhere to stay for the night as we were visiting Cheddar Gorge the next morning but ended up wishing we’d booked for longer. Would 100% return

The smooth check in and check out was excellent. You are very much left to it, however should you need any help with anything it is there when you require it and recieved warmly. The cottages are all very well placed and give the feeling of privacy as well as comfort in lovely surroundings. The bed was incredibly comfortable

Lovely friendly pub full of character and chatty locals. Nice open fire. Dog friendly which was nice to see. Food was excellent. Great choice in the evenings and superbly cooked.Very clean throughout. Really enjoyed the stay. If you don't mind being a little bit out of town then this is the place. Will definitely stay again. We arrived late afternoon and were given a warm welcome from Matthew and just in time for coffee and cake. Loved the idea of the honesty bar which had a good selection of drinks. Room was lovely so quiet. It was just what we needed for our Anniversary stay. Breakfast was delicious. We booked our evening meals from the selection that had been recommended and they didn’t disappoint . We would definitely return such a beautiful place to stay. We also were given a small card wishing us a happy anniversary which had wild flower seeds inside which will be planted in our garden. A lovely touch
