Dave and Andrea (the owners) were very friendly and helpful. The property was very tidy and comfortable. Everything you need is provided. Don't hesitate to book Ring O'Bells for a second. This was more than an overnight. It was an entirely wonderful experience. The feeling of warmth, welcome and home was evident immediately on arrival. The newly refurbished room had the style and ambience of a boutique hotel. The food, dinner and breakfast - stunning and plentiful. Value for money was off the charts. Former pub and leper hospice dating back nearly 600 years, the Cross has been sympathetically restored (some 10 years ago) to the highest standard. Owner Terri is a delightful and amiable host, who prepares a very comprehensive, copious and top quality breakfast. Our room was very large, immaculately clean and had a large bathroom with separate shower. The excellent village pub, two minutes walk away, has good quality food. 10 out of 10.

The place is beautiful and has everything you might need. It’s cozy, comfortable, and visually charming — in my opinion, it has everything one could look for in this area. The vibe is super positive and relaxed: the perfect pause in a road trip, especially if you’ve been driving. What really made the experience even better was the host — incredibly kind, attentive, quick to help, and genuinely welcoming. And to top it all off, we got to meet the house puppy, who absolutely made our day and turned this stop into our favorite one on the journey
