As a group of four we enjoyed everything about our stay at Brynlikky Cottage: the peacefulness of the location, the surrounding hills, walks, small towns and how completely the house was provisioned. It suited our walking holiday perfectly. Our host Emma made us feel at home from the time we arrived.

we just thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The view from the back window is something else, we enjoyed watching the lambs play each evening, the farmer moved some newly born calves into the field for us aswell. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Plenty to do in the area.

The Lodge is lovely and quiet which is what we were looking for, very picturesque. The pub just down the lane was wonderful and served a lovely Sunday roast.

The property had everything we needed for our stay and it was perfect for our group. We visited with two other families so the two glamping pods either side of the main facilities worked really well and gave us plenty of space. We all loved the hammocks and pool table/dart board to keep us entertained so didn't really need to go anywhere to keep the kids happy

Pleasant - What previous guests thought, 30 reviews
The location is lovely and great for walking and exploring. Shropshire is an underrated gem of a location. The beds and bedding in the property are comfy. It's dog friendly. The owner refunded us for the 2 days we decided we couldn't stay in the damp, unfinished property any longer. I have given 1 point for each of those four things.

Jack welcomed my son and I like family. Community pubs like these are getting rare, sadly. No blaring TV being ogled by zombies. Just homegrown banter and steak/kidney suet pie (the best I’ve ever had). We hope very much to be back. Thanks Jack, Hannah, Hebe and the team. An unforgettable experience. Simon & Stuart

Local pub with its own microbrewery and guest ales/ciders. Room was clean and well appointed, even had Aircon. Jack, Hannah, Hebe and all the staff were great and very welcoming and the regulars were fun. Wouldn't hesitate to visit again.

Location was excellent! Right beside the castle ruin. Rooms were warm and cosy. Food was excellent (when we eventually got to eat). And we had lots of fun playing pool (?) and cards in the restaurant/pub.
