We’ve just returned from a lovely long weekend at Salt Pot Cottage. Had such a relaxing time. The cottage is so cozy, clean and homely. It has everything you need and more! Beds are so comfy which is what you need after exploring the local area. Very dog friendly with a lovely enclosed garden. Amazing views. We sat outside and watched the bats flying around in the evening. Great for kids too, with a fabulous park only 10 minutes walk away. Can’t wait to go back! 🥰

Lots of space, in modern rooms. Family run business, and it showed. We were only there 2-days, but it would have been good for a week or more, especially if on a walking style holiday. Delightful village.

The apartment was very spacious, including a private door and hallway that was very useful for storing boots and coats after a walk in the Dales. The apartment heated up quickly. The kitchen appliances performed well, and the pans and kitchen utensils were all in good working order. I appreciated that there weren't things obviously left by previous occupants. The waterfall shower was great. The beds were comfortable. There were TVs in both bedrooms and in the sitting room. Very good location for getting into the Dales, and affordable.
