As we arrived to a warm welcome we immediately felt comfortable in our surroundings. A perfect peaceful location situated just outside Bottesford. Our double room was clean, well equipped and tastefully decorated with a nice comfy bed. The view from our room overlooked the large garden and pond at the back with a cottage and cattle sheds to the left. Breakfast was very nice with cereal, fruit, toast and full english on offer whilst sitting at a large communal table surrounded by lovely interesting antiques. Richard and Helen are very friendly, lovely people, and we enjoyed their hospitality.

Absolutely beautiful apartment, location for town centre and local transport on the doorstep, everything you need is catered for in the apartment, we would definitely highly recommend staying here.

Set in Newark upon Trent, in a historic building, 25 km from Sherwood Forest, The Lions is a bed and breakfast with a tennis court and shared lounge.

If you want an old English style type house this is the place low beams creaky floors the full works absolutely fantastic, great location, good value for money, good breakfast good old pub just across road for great evening meal. even being a historically old building bathroom bed etc. all up to scratch

A beautifully clean bungalow with brand new kitchen, bathroom and ensuite in a very quiet part of Bottesford. Driveway even fitted both cars on which was great. The 2 double beds were very comfortable, we really couldn't fault it. The co-op was only a 3 minute walk away to get supplies. We had a most fantastic meal and service at Pauls Restaurant. We would definitely stay again if we come back this way. Thank you to the owners for accommodating my requests, their communication was superb.

Every thing was so clean. Separate toilets with a key and kitchenette to use was fabulous. Host was brilliant, my little boy fed the animals and was made to feel super welcome! ☺️

Beautiful room. Really pretty, rural location in farmland, even with Brown Hares to watch. So peaceful. Comfortable bed. Kettle, tea, coffee, and some heating up facilities and mini fridge. Perfect for a break to unwind. Ideal for solo travellers or for a couple.

A wonderful well presented property, very comfortable and clean, looks newly renovated to a high standard. Beds are super comfortable lots of thoughtful touches throughout and good communication from the owner too. We stayed for two nights to attend a wedding at the nearby Kelham Renaissance venue which is a few minutes drive away. Thanks to the owners for a wonderful stay.
