Good location for the centre, great base for travelling in the area, to the Lake District. The house was decorated lovely, clean, had everything we needed. The host Fiona checked in with us before and after stay.

We received a warm welcome and were VERY well looked after by everybody at the Barbon Inn. The location is in a quiet, peaceful location. The Inn itself is very old, but beautifully maintained by its owners. who will do everything to help those staying. They have a good menu for all meals. The food is well presented and of excellent quality.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. The cottage was lovely and clean and the bedroom smelt really clean and fresh. Parking available right outside the cottage. Fantastic atmosphere inside the pub with games for adults and children to play. Locals really friendly and NOT a 'clicky' environment at all! We stayed on a bank holiday Monday when there was live music and karaoke involving the children with songs they would like. We would definitely stay again!
