The staff were so warm and welcoming. We had dinner in the restaurant...it was exquisite! Perfectly cooked and creatively presented. Five stars to the chef! We were at the Priory Inn to celebrate a friend's birthday and the entire staff contributed to a special experience.

Great location, large room/bathroom, nice sitting area, numerous quiet sitting areas throughout the downstairs, both outside and inside, which we used daily. Location next to the Abbey gives it views from several aspects.

Our 5-day stay at Whatley Manor was beyond exceptional. I am hard put to find words to convey how blissful we felt. The enchanting grounds/park/gardens, the hard-to-believe set of buildings that constitute the hotel, the amazingly comfy lounges, bars, restaurants, rooms, not to mention the spa and swimming-pool, and - cherry on a gorgeous pie - the staff. In such a top-notch hotel environment, they all accomplish the amazing feat of being perfect, without… doing too much, if I can put it that way. And the smiles! They put one on your face, too, all day long. Shall I mention the stunning Cotswolds region? The jaw-dropping honey-coloured 17th-century villages. Well, if heaven had a specific address, that could be it.

A very peaceful little stay, having a barbecue with the sound of birdsong all around. The hut had everything you’d need for a nights stay in the summer. Very easy to get in and out, and helpful directions to the location provided.

Lovely cosy home. Well furnished and well equipped kitchen. Would prefer a firmer mattress otherwise everything was great. Stayed for 1 night as we were coming down from the North of Cotswolds to the South on our way to Bath. Location was convenient for us. There is large paid parking area in front of the accommodation. Would stay again.

Both me and my dog were made so welcome. She was wet and very muddy when we arrived, but, when I asked, we were given access to a hose, and lent towels to clean her off before going to our room. The toom was tastefully decorated, the bed was super comfy and the shower was powerful with plenty of hot water. Dinner was simple and tasty. On recommendation by the host we headed into Tetbury for the wool sack races the next day which was unusual and fun. Definitely recommend Pettifers.

The location and the room. It was a big family room with proper single beds for the children. You don't get this very often. Friendly staff. Also nice and quiet.

The tasty dinner in the bistro, and good breakfast, and a family room with 1 double bed and 2 singles, which is rare to find, but essential for 2 teenage children.

There is parking, the hotel is nicely decorated and the village is beautiful. The bathroom was a weird little room accessed through a short door which was fun.

The cottage was beautiful as were the grounds. The rooms were set out well and the hosts even had the table fully set for dining and was lovely to have fresh eggs and milk available to use along with other things in the kitchen. I would definitely recommend this for families and couples wanting to unwind and get away from it all. It's also a short-ish distance from the Cotswolds and Cirencester

The breakfast was excellent. It is cooked to order so do come expecting a small delay before it is served - when it does come you will not be disappointed. Anywhere that serves proper field mushrooms is always high on my list! This is a family run hotel and we were impressed by our hostess who went out of her way to please. The rooms are large and airy and quiet despite the nearby road.
