People were warm and friendly. Room was spotless. The breakfast was great and the suppers we had there were large and tasty. We were accommodated in all questions we had and with the greatest of care. We were total strangers from another country Canadians who were treated like royalty.

We stayed here to visit Oxford and Cotswolds, and this place is made for it! Very close to Oxford, just couple minutes drive to Park&ride there. And very beautiful Cotswold towns are also close and convenient to rich. We got the room on 1st floor, really nice and cosy, our dog loved low floor window he could watch who goes in the street. Excellent food and drinks in the bar, and we were very pleased with real fireplace - it was rainy cold weather outside.

Such a beautiful and atmospheric place with amazing river side garden. Lovely to sit outside on a summer evening with a relaxing beer. My room also had a wonderful view towards the river. The creakiness was part of the character that makes it a special place. Nice breakfast, lovely friendly staff. Close to centre of town and next to the abingdon Abbey remains.

We stayed with our dog and the room with the patio door was perfect for us. There were doggie treats and water bowl supplied. We felt like we had good privacy because we can come in and out through the patio door. Lovely walk around the hotel too

This stay was exceptional value for money and 5 minutes away from my appointment the following day. The staff were friendly and welcoming with one lady pretty much looking after everything. My evening meal was very enjoyable as was breakfast the following morning. My room was a good size, clean and comfortable with plenty of electricity sockets and good WiFi reception. I loved all the railway memorabilia in the main reception, bar and restaurant area and the place had a real family feel to it.

Room was good but slightly dated. I had the family which was a good enough space for me, although a little cosy if you were sticking a family in there. Bathroom was clean. Full English breakfast was freshly cooked to order and very tasty with a nice filtered coffee. Staff are very friendly and approachable. Overall great value for money.

The warm friendly atmosphere and you felt like you was part of the family was wonderful. Being close to the railway station and hearing and seeing the trains go pass was brilliant.

Good location, next to train line into Oxford. Not able to use it due to bridge works, but no doubt useful when operating. Rooms clean and functional, but a bit small. Fresh cooked breakfast ideal to start the day. Friendly staff

Room was clean and comfortable with a homely feel. Both evening meal and breakfast was excellent and the evening meal well priced. Staff were friendly and hospitable. Facilities just perfect for a business stay. I would consider a place to stay with the family too, due to the themed nature of the Inn. An enjoyable, and relaxed stay.

Awesome house for a family party aged 6 - 87. Loads of beds and loads of fun - pool, Jacuzzi, pool table, disco room, football pitch. Host was really responsive and welcoming. Couldn't have asked for more. Thank you!
