Just loved everything about it. The staff and locals made us feel like family! Their local knowledge of the area was so helpful too. We saw places that we probably would have missed without their advice. Only wished that we could have stayed longer! The rooms, dining area etc were beautifully decorated. Everything was spot on. Great hotel in a nice old house, renovated with great care and taste, great rooms, quality service from a lovely owner, great breakfast, a few minutes away from Dunnet Head, Castle of Mey & Duncansby Stacks. Loved it.

really comfortable and well situated, and thoughtfully provisioned with different teas and coffee. Great shower!. it was about 20 min walk to Mackeys hotel for dinner, but a nice walk if the weather is nice!
