Friendly professional staff. The hotel was comfortable, spotlessly clean and furnished to such a high standard. The restaurant food was exceptional.

The room was clean and comfortable; the staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was good. Perfect location, not too far from north bay, south bay or town centre, and with great views. Great value for money; would stay again.

We loved everything about Oliver West's Beautiful 1-Bedroom Retreat in Scarborough. The apartment was perfect and very good value for our three-night stay. We would highly recommend it to couples for a short stay in beautiful Scarborough and we hope to be able to visit again ourselves in the future. The ground floor accommodation comprises a large kitchen/dining/living room with a lovely view over a back garden area; bathroom/WC with a really good shower, and a large bay-windowed bedroom at the front of the property. We appreciated the provision of essentials such as coffee, tea, and washing-up liquid, dishcloth etc. The bedroom was warm, carpeted and comfortable with an exceptionally comfortable king-size bed and quality bedding. There is a wardrobe with plenty of hangers. A small chest of drawers/dressing table would be a welcome addition but not essential. The apartment was warm, clean, very comfortable and well-equipped for all our needs. Although the apartment is on the ground floor of what appears to be a multi-occupancy property, it was quiet and peaceful. Located a short walk from the South Cliff, with busy Ramshill Road en route, the apartment is perfectly located with shops, food outlets and a decent pub within a short distance. Ramshill Road is also on the bus route to Filey with frequent buses. We received clear instructions about how to access the property from our hosts well in advance and everything worked smoothly. It was very helpful to receive clear information about where to park and a parking disk was provided so that we could benefit from the 3 hour free parking outside the property, and in the wider vicinity. We encountered no difficulties at all with regard to parking thanks to the clear information provided by our hosts. The hosts checked in with us by text message during our stay and were absolutely charming! They immediately dealt with an issue that we raised with them and generally, they impressed as the perfect hosts.

What a lovely property! Sandra met us at the door and showed us the apartment. The apartment is fully fitted, with good appliances and great beds. We had a wonderful short stay and would recommend this property to others!

Beautifully decorated apartment in a great location for town and the local beaches. The dogs were very happy and comfy too!

Everything especially the little touches like a guest book and KitKats. I'm vegan and they went and got oat milk for the room. Fantastic will definitely be back.
